Dog Sled Rides of Winter Park has 80 Siberian and Alaskan huskies. During the winter, the dogs pull sleds in the the forests near Winter Park. In the summer they are running around loose in the exercise yard, pulling carts, or resting comfortably in the back yard. When they nap, they dream of snow and pulling sleds.

Come for a one hour visit to learn about our dogs, and dog sledding. We'll tell you all about our nutrition program, vet care for sled dogs, show you our sleds and explain driving techniques. You'll learn about how much work it takes to care for 80 working dogs year round. We save the best for last, letting you get to know a few of the dogs.

Tours are conducted almost daily, from May 1st to October 31st, at 10:00 am. Groups of 10 or more can select a different start time by special arrangement.

Risks and Rules

If you are coming for a ride with us, it is helpful to read our risks and rules before you show up. We will review these with you before your trip, but if you already know them, your time with us will be safer and more enjoyable. Also below is a waiver. If you have a large group coming, it is helpful to have the liability waiver signed by everyone before you show up as well. It saves a little check-in time.
